商品の紹介
| Rolling Stone (p.74) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he lyrics go for cathartic images set to chopping riffage, whirlpool distortion and dark, soaring melodies..." Spin - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "Blissed-out and surreal, featuring queasy slides between loud and soft, it's a work of patient design and bloody fantasy. Brutal beauty abounds..." Entertainment Weekly (p.69) - "The first third feels like primal-scream therapy, with frontman Chino Moreno howling himself even rawer than usual." -- Grade: B Alternative Press (p.101) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "Here, the lighter elements seem more optimistic and anthemic than ever, while the darker sentiments seem even more opaque." Alternative Press (p.100) - Ranked #6 in Alternative Press's "10 Essential Albums of 2010" -- "Deftones sculpted DIAMOND EYES out of the frustration and anger they were experiencing -- and we're all better for it." Billboard (p.37) - "The set is full of the Deftones' usual energy and showcases singer Chino Moreno's knack for alternating between screams and sweet vocal delivery over heavy, complex guitar work." Kerrang (Magazine) (p.50) - "DIAMOND EYES is a remarkable achievement and an instant Deftones classic. IT's a sexual, sinewy beast, full of throttle, thrust and murderous menace..." Mojo (Publisher) (p.92) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he most satisfying Deftones album in a decade, welding their patented post-hardcore crunch with their noted love of twisted, Cure-styled melody." |
