| 放送用ライヴ音源4タイトルをまとめたセット商品。Disc1：リオ 1985年1月12日、Disc 2：ヒューストン 1977年12月11日、Disc 3：ブエノスアイレス 1981年2月28日、Disc 4：サンパウロ 1981年3月20日の4公演を収録。 Disc 1 - We Will Rock Rio is the legendary broadcast from Rio 12th January 1985. On their transatlantic trips Queen certainly pulled out all the stops to produce an amazing series of shows which featured the greatest hits from their glittering career. From the moment Freddie Mercury stepped on to the stage to the last strains of God Save The Queen the group were on fire, this legendary concert was broadcast live on TV and radio. This is the ultimate proof of the magic of Queen. Disc 2 - We Will Rock Houston features the concert broadcast from Houston on the 11th December 1977, which captures the band hard at work promoting the album News Of The World. Although Europe, South America and Japan all quickly fell in love with Queen, North America was a much tougher nut to crack and this is a perfect record of Queen working hard to achieve that elusive goal. Disc 3 - We Will Rock Buenos Aires is taken from the live broadcast of a concert in Buenos Aires on 28th February 1981 when Queen were busy promoting the album The Game. South America was always much more receptive to Queen. Between the Houston show in 1977 and Argentina in 1981, a string of hit singles and their involvement with the Flash Gordon movie, the Queen stage show had transformed into something which was now almost unrecognisable from that which had gone before. Disc 4 - We Will Rock Sao Paulo features the highlights from the concert broadcast from The Morumbi Stadium, Sao Paulo on 20th March 1981. The set list was much the same as the Buenos Aires show from three weeks earlier. The disc is completed by two US live broadcasts from the Saturday Night Live show. As part of their continuing quest to break into North America Queen performed Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Under Pressure. |
