| NAXOSの人気シリーズ、バルトークのピアノ作品集。この第9集にはリスト作品の名演で名高いゴラン・フィリペツの演奏で2つの重要な作品を収録。ピアノ・ソナタ Op.19は17歳のバルトークがブダペストに留学する前に書いたもので、公に発表されることのなかった作品。長い間失われていたとされましたが、フィリペツが自筆譜をもとに作曲家の意図を反映し修正や調整を行い、演奏会用ヴァージョンを作成して今回録音に至りました。ブラームスを思わせる後期ロマン派の雰囲気をたたえた曲調ですが、若いバルトークの意欲も感じさせる力作です。他の初期作品も珍しいものです。『ピアノ・メソード』は、バルトークが、ブダペスト音楽院のピアノ科の教授を務めたレショフスキー(1887-1967)と協力して学生教育用に書き上げた教材集。1913年に音楽学者アンタル・モルナールが「初心者向けながら生き生きとしており、魂を揺さぶり心を動かす作品」と絶賛したこの曲集には、2人の作品のほかに、チェルニーら他の作曲家の作品も含まれています。このアルバムにはバルトークの手による48曲を収録。技術的には容易であるものの、どの曲も洗練されており、彼のピアノ教育のアイデアを知る良い機会となっています。 ナクソス・ジャパン |
