| John Entwistles six solo albums received deluxe reissues in 2023, leading to Demon rounding up these expansions as a six-CD box set called The Ox Box. Spanning the course of a quarter-century -- Smash Your Head Against the Wall arrived in 1971, The Rock closed out his solo career in 1996 -- Entwistles solo career remained on the fringes of arena rock, sounding heavier and weirder than the Who.
