Hitting impossible highs, "Drum Machine" pushes exuberant euphoria like Alison Goldfrapp colliding with Kylie Minogue. In that Kylie vein, "What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" throbs through sparkling atmospherics as Chisholm does some soul searching on the dancefloor, while "Pressure" cranks that persistent pulse to the limit on an arms-to-the-sky, festival-sized standout. "Til It Breaks" finds healing on the dancefloor just as quickly as "Free to Love" moves on with life and new chances. Theres a sweet twinkle on the wide-eyed "Emotional Memory" thats snapped by a thick rubberband bassline on the biting kiss-off "Good for Nothing" and the cold, digital tease of "Flick of the Wrist." No frills and to the point, Sweat is an escapist comfort that provides a thrilling distraction to the pains and struggles of the outside world. This is pure euphoria on a level similar to same-decade releases by Minogue, Goldfrapp, Jessie Ware, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Robyn, a bakers dozen of potential hits where everythings a highlight and nothing needs to be skipped.
